Austin Air 4-Stage Filtration System:

At the heart of the four stage filtration system is a true medical grade HEPA air filter that removes particulate down to 0.30 microns. Combined with the HEPA filter is a mixture of carbon and zeolite for the effective removal of harmful gases like ammonia and formaldehyde.

STAGE 1 – Large Particle Pre-filter removes particles visible to the naked eye (dust, hair, pet dander and more).
STAGE 2 - Medium Particle Pre-filter captures small to medium size particles (molds, spores and pollen)
STAGE 3 - Activated Carbon and Zeolite remove dangerous VOCs, gases, odors and fumes.
STAGE 4 – True Medical Grade HEPA Air Filter filters captures 99.97% of all particles as small as 0.3 micrometers (bacteria and viruses).
