AllergyZone Furnace Filters -
Cleaner Air Means a Healthier Home

Did you know that the air inside your home can be up to five times more polluted than the outside air? Without the proper indoor air filtration, your home could be a hostile environment. What can you do? Start cleaning your air by using the most effective furnace filter on the market: the AllergyZone Furnace Filter.

Exclusively designed and recommended by leading allergy and asthma physicians, the AllergyZone furnace filter removes 95% of harmful allergy-causing particulates from the air. It has received the highest available residential MERV efficiency rating, and is proven 500% more effective than fiberglass filters.

No Allergens Allowed!

Through independent laboratory testing, AllergyZone filters are shown to capture over 90% of allergy causing particles from the air.

The AllergyZone XL1500 Ultra is a disposable high efficiency pleated panel furnace filter. Developed by a nationally recognized allergy and asthma specialist, AllergyZone filters are designed to provide higher efficiency and better overall performance than other home furnace and air conditioning filters. It is capable of filtering over 90% of the allergens and other small particles commonly found in you indoor air. The AllergyZone XL1500 Ultra has received the highest MERV efficiency rating available, a 12, meeting or exceeding all other pleated filters available for use in the home.

Our Approach

AllergyZone filters are the result of twenty years of study and concern about an often overlooked way to improve indoor air quality. Typically, allergy and asthma sufferers are unaware of the impact that environmental factors can have in triggering symptoms. Few people are aware that the air in their homes can be up to five times more polluted than outdoor air and that using a high-quality filter, and replacing it frequently, can remove up to 95% of harmful allergy-causing particulates from the air. In his research, founder James Sublett, M.D. discovered that remarkable new filtration media were available but were used almost exclusively in the commercial and institutional markets. He set out to apply the new filtration technology to disposable residential filters.

AllergyZone Furnace Filters were developed with one of the world's leading filter companies that supplies the highest quality filters to major hospital complexes. The high quality pleated design utilizes state of the art filtration media for outstanding performance. Manufactured in the USA!

Changing filters regularly is another overlooked way that allergy and asthma sufferers can breathe easier. Even among the few who are aware of the impact, remembering when to change filters regularly is a problem. Therefore, AllergyZone offers a home delivery Subscription Service, so users don't need to remember to change the filter every three months on their own. A fresh, new filter arrives at their home conveniently when it's time for a change.

Top Quality Materials and Construction

AllergyZone filters are made with a highly specialized synthetic filtration media. This media provides a combination of electrostatic and mechanical filtration to ensure excellent performance that is sustainable over time.

The gradient layering (rough to smooth) of the media allows for sustained particulate capturing and excellent holding capacity while minimizing airflow resistance. The filter media will not absorb moisture and will not support the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew or fungi in normal use.

The gradient layered media is backed by a galvanized steel wire mesh for interior strength and stability and pleated to allow more particulate capturing surface than with a flat-surfaced filter. The AllergyZone XL1500 Ultra filter frame is made of durable beverage board and double-walled with reinforced corners to withstand bending or collapsing from pressure created by both handling and air movement through the filter. The construction of the frame assures a good fit and allows for secure installation, reducing the chance of unfiltered air passing around the filtering surface.

There are two main components to a filter: the frame and the filter media. The frame is important because it allows the filter to withstand the pressure created by your air conditioning and heating system. When a frame bends, air follows the path of least resistance and bypasses the filter, reducing the air filter's efficiency (testing has shown that even small bends in the frame can cause air flow to bypass the filter). If the filter collapses and is drawn into the furnace, it can cause a significant amount of damage to your air conditioning and heating system, and may lead to a fire. Insurance companies estimate that over 40% of home fires are caused by faulty heating and air conditioning systems.

With an AllergyZone filter, the composition and increased pleating of the material inside the frame allows for more efficient particulate trapping. As air passes through the filter, the media catches particles. With each pass of air, more and more particulates are trapped, as there is less open space in which the particulates can pass. Up to the recommended three month change interval, the filter actually becomes more effective with use.

The AllergyZone XL1500 Ultra

Proven through independent testing to remove over 90% of allergy causing particles from the air.

The AllergyZone XL1500 Ultra carries a MERV 12 fractional efficiency rating in accordance with ASHRAE Test Standard 52.2. This test was developed by ASHRAE to allow the consumer to compare the relative efficiencies of air filters. We have chosen to make claims based ONLY on the results of this accepted industry standard. http://www.ashrae.org/

In laboratory tests, The AllergyZone XL1500 Ultra was found to remove 94.8 percent of allergy causing agents on the first pass. Better news still, the filter showed an increase in effectiveness over time. The trapped particulates helped to trap even more particulates.

How to Install Your Filter

1. Remove any plastic or paper wrap from filter. Take care not to cut, bend, crimp or otherwise damage or remove the cardboard frame around the filter media.

2. Remove and dispose of the existing filter in your home furnace or air conditioning system. Keep in mind that the used filter contains particulates that, with improper handling, can be re-introduced into the air. For best results, immediately place the soiled filter in a plastic garbage bag, tie the top, and dispose of properly.

3. Insert your AllergyZone filter into the filter opening of your home furnace or air conditioning unit with the arrow located on the frame pointing in the direction of air flow. The solid yellow side of the filter should face the side of the unit in which the return air duct brings air into the furnace or air conditioning system.

4. Sign up for our Subscription Service so that, in three months, a new filter will arrive on your doorstep, reminding you to change your filter for continued clean air for your home.
